How far in advance should I book a picnic?

Luxury picnic bookings must be made at least 72 hours in advance. We recommend booking as soon as you have a preferred date in mind, especially if your preferred day of the week is on the weekend as weekends fill up the fastest.

How far in advance can I book?

Bookings are open up to 30 days at a time.

Do your packages come with food?

None of our packages come with food. We do however offer meal add ons. To add on meals please view add on section when booking your Kontemporary Picnic.

What type of meal do you provide for meal add ons?

We provide gourmet boxed sandwich lunches. Please contact us for further details.

Can I bring my own food?

Yes. You are more than welcome to bring your own food. However, for the full luxury picnic experience we do recommend adding on food option.

Do we have to clean up the picnic?

No! We provide the full luxury picnic experience which includes setting up and breaking down. Our luxury picnic experience is designed for you to arrive, unwind and enjoy!

What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?

We understand that life happens! Please notify us at least 3 days prior to your booking for a refund or to reschedule. There is a 15% non-refundable service fee if you cancel for any reason. Kontemporary Picnics is not responsible for refunding the full amount.

No refunds will be allowed if you miss canceling or rescheduling 3 days before your booking!

What happens in the event of inclement weather?

In the event that it rains your event will be cancelled. You will be able to reschedule your luxury picnic within 3 months of your original picnic date. If you have a rented inside space your event will still be able to proceed. We can provide rented spaces for you additional cost(not recommend for parties smaller than 8) or assist you in your search.
